Annexe Gallery - Facilities

The Annexe Gallery is made up of three inter-connected spaces called Gallery 1, 2 and 3. If you are facing the gallery from the outside, Gallery 1 is on your left, Gallery 2 in the middle and Gallery 3 is on the right.

The three gallery spaces can be used for anything: art exhibitions, theatre, dance, film screenings, music gigs, readings, fashion shows, book launches and workshops. We are also ideal for corporate functions, especially when the corporation wants to share our buzz, in reaching to an audience that is young, cutting-edge and savvy.

We also welcome forums, talks and press conferences by NGOs. Expression of hope for a better future by civic societies is a vital form of expression and deserves a wider audience. We are proud to support that vision with a reasonable rate.

Hall Rental Rates

1. For Art Exhibitions:
Gallery 1 - RM2,000 per week
Gallery 2 - RM2,300 per week
Gallery 3 - RM2,500 per week

2. For Theatre, Dance, Musical Theatre & Film Screenings:
Gallery 1, 2 & 3 - Weekdays: RM500 per day per hall
Gallery 1, 2 & 3 - Weekends: RM600 per day per hall
Extra hours: RM100 per hour per hall

3. For Forums, Talks & Workshops (by Artists, Art Groups & NGOs):
Gallery 1, 2 & 3 - RM200 for first 2 hours, and RM100 per every subsequent hour - per hall
*For usage of more than four hours and less than eight hours - RM500 per day - per hall

4. For Music Concerts:
Gallery 1, 2 & 3 - Weekdays: RM500 per day per hall
Gallery 1, 2 & 3 - Weekends: RM600 per day per hall
(maximum 8 hours usage) - per hall
For additional hours - RM100 per hour per hall

5. For Corporate Events (includes Product Launches, Press Conferences & Receptions):
Gallery 1, 2 & 3 - RM1,200 per day (maximum 8 hours usage) - per hall
Gallery 1, 2 & 3 - RM3,600 per day (maximum 8 hours usage) - for all three halls
Extra hours: RM200 per room per hall.

6. Stereo Sound System & Video Projector Hire
Stereo Sound system (with 8-Channel Mixer, 2 Microphones) - RM100 per day (maximum 8 hours usage)
Video Projector - RM100 per day (maximum 8 hours usage)

Rates quoted above are effective as of 1 Apr 2011.

All bookings will only be confirmed upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount of the rent.

The 30% non-refundable deposit will be forfeited upon the following conditions:
1. The booking is cancelled by the organiser within three months before the event.
2. The date(s) of the event is changed by the organiser within three months before the event.

*The Annexe Gallery normally closes for a few days during major Malaysian public holidays.

Terms And Conditions

  • All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Long term rental rates and rental outside of normal business hours can be discussed.
  • Functions may have to share space with ongoing art exhibitions.
  • As this is a public art space, art exhibitions may be ongoing and the public will be allowed access to the gallery during opening hours.
